Professional Development


The Ohio Chapter will award scholarships to full-time undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in a Construction Management or CM-related program for the next school year. Candidates must have completed a minimum of one full academic year and have a minimum of one full year remaining in their course of study. Scholarships are for one year. In addition to the Chapter’s scholarship opportunity, the top-rated undergraduate or graduate level scholarship applicants are submitted to CMAA National in order to be considered for CMAA Foundation’s scholarship.

Construction Manager-In-training

The CMIT program will assist you with your career development. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the foundations of Construction Management through self-study and an assessment. You will also receive a discounted CMAA Membership, providing access to information and special pricing on products, events, workshops, webinars and networking opportunities. You will be entitled to use the industry-recognized designation CMIT following your name and receive recognition on CMAA's website.
